A Message from the Director

Thank You, Kim Thomson, for putting together our very first digital edition of the Long Island Gardener!
Congratulations to Dix Hills Garden Club for installing the first Gold Star Marker on Long Island! It was a true honor to be invited to attend and speak on the history and significance of the Gold Star Marker. What a meaningful and memorable event!
As we wrap up National Garden Week, we’d love to highlight your efforts. Please send photos and a brief description of how your club celebrated to thomsonkime@gmail.com. The Second District would be proud to share and celebrate your contributions.
A few important reminders:
Our District Luncheon will be held on July 24th—have you ordered your tickets?
Trumpet Vine submissions are due to your Section Chair by July 1st. Don’t miss the deadline!
Thank you all for the passion, time, and creativity you bring to our gardening community.
