A Message from the Director

As the leaves fall and the wind begins to stir, the holiday season is just around the corner. I’d like to take this moment to wish each of you a warm and joyful holiday filled with good fortune.
Here in the Second District, we are hard at work planning our newly renamed “March Mingle”—formerly known as President’s Council. The name was updated to reflect that the event is open to all, not just presidents. It will be held on March 9th at the Planting Fields Arboretum. We’re pleased to welcome Alex Calamia as our guest speaker and will also host a round-table–style session, featuring topic-focused tables designed to help our 31 clubs address common challenges such as: membership, awards, websites, flower shows, youth groups, and more.
Please also mark your calendars for our Annual Luncheon on Thursday, July 30, 2026. More details will be shared soon.
Always sending my best,
Elizabeth Walsh
